Official Catalan from A1 to B2
Preparation for the official Catalan exams of the Andorran government — to renew your residence, practise in healthcare or apply for a public-sector job. In-person or online, with mock exams and native teachers.
Every level opens a door
In Andorra, official Catalan is required at different moments of life and work. These are the most common cases:
First renewal
Since April 2026, the official A1 diploma is required for the first renewal of your residence and work permit.
Second renewal
The second renewal asks for A2: you can handle everyday situations in life and at work.
Independent user
You communicate independently at work and with the public. It's the natural step after A2 and the foundation for B2.
Professional requirement
Mandatory to practise a regulated health profession (medicine, nursing, physiotherapy, psychology, pharmacy…) and for many public-administration posts: police, firefighters, customs, technical staff and managers.
Indicative requirements under Llei 6/2024 on the official language, Llei 39/2022 on health professions and Decret 339/2024. Always check the current regulations or the job call that applies to you.
From A1 to B2, with confidence
The Andorran government runs the official Catalan-language exams (levels A1 to C2 of the Common European Framework of Reference). It's the diploma you'll be asked for to renew your residence, join a professional association or apply for a public-sector job.
